Puerto Príncipe is the former name of the city of Camagüey, the third largest city in Cuba, with a historic centre classified a World Heritage site by UNESCO. It is also the name of a relatively comfortable suburb of Camagüey.
During a stay of six weeks in early 2017, one month of which was spent in that suburb, Adrian Bondy crisscrossed and photographed the city and its inhabitants. This exhibition is the fruit of his explorations, encounters and discoveries.
